About the event
Join Tara Performing Arts High School's 10th & 11th grades when they present Tina Howe's insightfully comedic play "Museum" at the Nomad Playhouse.
Museum takes place on the final day of a group show of three fictional contemporary American artists exhibiting in a major museum of modern art. Over the course of the day some forty people walk through the show: art aficionados, skeptics, international visitors, students, lost souls, fellow artists, and of course, the museum guards. Ever witty, insightful, ridiculous and profound, Tina Howe’s work frames human behavior in all its quirks and glories, looking at our relationship to the creative impulse, the role of art in community, and the desire to take or to destroy.
